and exposition The History of the spa Bardejovske Kupele
The Exposition is located in Vila Rákoczi, which was built at the beginning of the 19th century. The Exposition Crafts of our ancestors presents folk dresses, home production and products of folk craftsmen from Upper Šariš. It provides a vivid picture of the lives of previous generations. Folk dresses are documented there in development stages. Crafts are installed at two levels. They capture the development of crafts and production technology. The biggest attention is paid to pottery (making clay containers), hat making, shoe and boot making, gingerbread making (decorating gingerbread making), and candle making; wood processing is represented mainly by shingle making, box making, basket making, etc. The display also presents sacral folk arts, plastic art pieces and paintings on glass. As part of esposition, there is a smaller, permanent exposition called The History of Bardejovské Kúpele (Bardejov Spa) and Pharmacy exposition, opened in 1996. Furniture and equipment of a pharmacy from the 19th century is installed in an area of 50 sq m.
