Location
Roháče is a mountain range in northern Slovakia, in Žilina Region (Žilinský kraj), in districts Liptovský Mikuláš and Tvrdošín.The Roháče Mountains are part of the Western Tatras (Západné Tatry) mountains. There are both easy and challenging mountain hiking trails that are accessible in the summer season. There is the possibility of skiing in winter.
Area
The area of the Roháče Mountains is 260 km² (26,000 ha).
